Our brand values

When using the Commsplus brand, you should consider our brand values.

Our brand values are important to us. Our logo was originally designed back when Commsplus was ran from a dining room table and therefore it is important to us that it is used in the correct way that reflects this heritage.

We have always been proud of our customer service and satisfaction record. We aim to reflect this in our brand identity. The logo stand for quality of product and quality of service and it is important to us that these values are upheld.

Custom material

What to do if you require bespoke advertising material.

Logo variations

Here are a few variations of the Commsplus logo.

Primary Logo

This is our primary logo and should be used whenever possible.

The logo as it appears above should be a minimum of 17mm or 80px in width.

It is of paramount importance that the space inside the black dotted line remains clear of any other graphics or text.

Secondary Logos

These secondary logos should be used where the first is not applicable, however, the same guidelines apply as set out before.

Secondary logos should be used for media such as icons or favicons as they are a better fit to square or circle borders.

It is of paramount importance that the space inside the black dotted line remains clear of any other graphics or text.

What not to do.

The Commsplus logo should not be copied, changed, traced or re-distributed without explicit permission from Commsplus Marketing.

The Commsplus logo should not be used without the accompanying text without explicit permission from Commsplus Marketing.

Repositioning

Never reposition elements within the logo.

Stretching

Do not stretch any element within the logo.

Colouring

Never alter any of the colours of the element.

Re-sizing

Do not change the size of an individual element.

Whilst all effort should be taken to avoid using a background colour tone that is similar to #E75225, we appreciate that this may be unavoidable. In these circumstances, you should use our white logo variation to ensure that the Commsplus logo has substantial contrast from the background. Please contact Commsplus marketing (marketing@commsplus.co.uk) for these white logo versions.

Typography

Our font type is part of our logo and should be treated as such.

Our main font is Myriad Pro. This font should be used for all main headings. Our secondary font is Myriad Pro Light. This should be used for subtitles, paragraphs and general bodies of text. You should take due care to ensure that the Commsplus text is clear and the correct size in proportion to the document. In the instance that our font, 'Myriad Pro' cannot be used (for example: on a web page), you should use Open Sans and Open Sans Light.

Versions of this font are available from Commsplus Marketing.

Kerning & Spacing

Please ensure that your use of Myriad Pro and Myriad Pro Light is intelligible. Ensure that kerning and tracking are set to 0 and that the letters do not overflow into non-visible areas. Do not stretch the font in anyway.
