Installation of Wi-Fi and telephony infrastructure at Massilly UK.


Massilly UK are an international metal fabrication company based in Swansea. Recently, the company experienced rapid growth, outgrowing their existing telecommunications and data infrastructure. Consequently, the need for a flexible and scalable communications solution became a priority.

The Brief

To install a suitable communications solution capable of supporting Massilly’s existing and future requirements. The solution should be scalable and deliver the features and benefits associated with a modern telephone system.

To identify issues surrounding the slow speed of Massilly’s broadband connection – a connection which ran at an unacceptable 6 Mbps. A solution was required to significantly increase speed and connectivity for users across the site using multiple devices without degradation of service or ‘dead spots’.

The Solution

We visited Massilly, carrying out a comprehensive survey of the existing system and Services, including a full Wi-Fi survey. We were able to design and implement a bespoke solution to meet the brief including;

•      A Samsung Officeserv telephone system

•      A Wireless Enterprise Wi-Fi solution

•      Multiple wireless desk phones

•      Built in VoIP network for mobile calling

We worked closely to Massilly's budget.We saved them significant ongoing costs such as call charges, line rental and broadband costs. The solution we built for them was implemented with minimal disruption with a seamless migration from their old system.
